Selena Marie Gomez born on July 22, 1992 is an American actress and singer, best known for her TV series in Wizards of Waverly Place , playing the Part of Alex Russo. She has also starred in movies like; Another Cinderella Story, the sequel to the 2004 Hilary Duff film , and the most recent Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program(P.P.P).
Starting from 2002 to 2003, Selena had a role on Barney & Friends. A year after her stint on the show ended, she was discovered in a nation-wide scouting by Disney, and had guest starring roles on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and the hit series Hannah Montana before she was eventually given one of the three starring roles on Wizards of Waverly Place.
